Even for today’s standards my brother and I had fun playing this game. I mean there is a PlayStation 2 and sometimes a Nintendo Wii sitting there but instead we took out the old Atari 2500 and slapped in some Wizard of Wor and started playing.

Originally developed as an arcade came in the early 1980’s by Midway and later released on other consoles such as the Atari 2600, 800 and the Commodore Wizard of Wor did quite well for itself and can still be enjoyed by many retro gamers.

You and your friend each play a team of warriors that must rid the dungeons of evil. There are many monsters that roam the dungeons and you must defeat them all and kill the Wizard. Just be careful not to hit your ally while your roaming the dungeon or he or she will loose a life.

Overall it’s a great game and pretty fun to play. You have to use your imagination somewhat because many games back then were mostly the same idea and especially this one how you wander around a small level defeating enemies can be much like Pac-Man.
