Super Nintendo role playing games on eBay

I had a huge craving to bust out some of my old RPG’s for the Super Nintendo, even though I’ve played them many times before I still enjoy them. I though to myself once I finish Final Fantasy 3 for the Super Nintendo I’d move on to an RPG that I haven’t played yet so I went right to eBay to search for a new game and was surprised that I could not find a game in my price range. I wanted to spend about 30 dollars with shipping.

I’m a collector myself so I expected some high prices but take a look at this. Earth Bound (Complete) was easily $350.00, yes I know this is a rare and great game but was pretty highly priced to me. I quickly moved on to other games such as Chrono Trigger which was close to $150.00, then to Lufia II which was $80.00. These games are all complete mind you and for the collector you want nothing else then a complete game.

I figured that if I was going to buy a game It would be best to have everything the game came with including the box. I searched instead for the game by itself and again noticed high prices.

Keep in mind these prices are in American dollars and with Buy It Now.

With that all said and done I’m sitting here waiting for a few eBay items hopefully winning at least one of them. Still though by the time I win one of these (if I do!) it will still be close to the Buy It Now! price so I may as well just spend the extra money and get the game I wanted in the first place.

For those who are saying just “download a rom” you should be ashamed of yourself.
