Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64 Review

When you think about it this game is not really that old compared to many other games I review, this one however deserves an honorable mention. Super Mario 64 was created by Nintendo and released in 1996.
Selling over eleven million copies as of 2007 the game was wildly popular though out Japan and North America. Super Mario 64 was special for the Mario series becuase it was actually the first 3D platform game.
Past Mario games were 2D side-scrollers while many people called the new 3D Super Mario 65 revolutionary, due to the fact this has never been done in a Mario series before. Many games have been developed upon this idea.
As with any other game I like to rant on about the music and Koji Kondo has done an amazing job with the music of Super Mario 64. Like many other Mario games the music has always been your classic theme and that’s fine, things have changed in Super Mario 64.
The water level music is beautiful and very calming keeping you entranced with the game play, many more levels feature well created music that is pleasing to the ear as the game play is pleasing to the eye.
Super Mario 64 can be found often in your local pawn shops and even online by shopping with such places as Amazon and eBay. The game can usually be found in the 15 - 20 dollar range and is a classic in my books.
