Sunset Riders for Super Nintendo Review

My older brother got me into many of these games and this one I can remember him renting and bringing home, plugging it into the Super Nintendo and playing for hours. I managed to pickup this game many years later at a local pawn shop for 7 dollars, good deal if I say so myself.

Sunset Riders came out in 1991 and was made by Konami. You could find the game for the Genesis/Mega Drive however in 1993 it was soon available for the Super Nintendo and to be honest I much prefer the music for the SNES over the Sega console.

H, Tsujimoto who directed teh version of Super Contra also helped with Sunset Riders. While playing the game you fight your way though the level collecting money and gun power ups. Once you get to the end of the stage you run into the boss who you have been hunting for.

If you defeat him you collect your bounty and move on to the next stage. Sunset Riders could be played with more then one player and the game had four players in all. I haven’t played this on the arcade but I’m sure if would have been great.
