Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was released by Sega in 1994 for their Sega Genesis . Mega Drive console. The game like many other Sonic games could be played by more then one player making it appeal to groups of gamers.

Sonic and Knuckles the games sequel was actually part of Sonic 3 itself however due to costs they split the game up and decided to release it as a game on its own, either way we end up with two really great games.

Everyone knows the story of Sonic how he battles Dr. Robotniks minions while usually saving animals who have been trapped and or caged. The game itself went though some changes that no other Sonic game had.

One of the main changes would be the fact that it was faster and the game engine preformed quicker. The game levels were much larger and they added new items such as shields and new items.

Sonic games have always had a great musical score and this one much like its predecessors excels in this department. The overall game graphics are great to.

Sonic games have always included bonus stages where you could collect extra rings and sometimes free lives. I also mentioned a multi-player above that a multi-player has been added, this of course was introduced back when Sonic 2 came out.

Overall summary the game was a joy to play and I enjoyed the graphics and music. Sonic games have always been fast paced and I find that helps keep the game interesting.
