Remembering the RPG Classics

We have all played Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Lufia, Breath of Fire, Secret of Mana, Arcana and many more but how many of you pick up the game, dust off your old SNES and play it once a year?

I used to pick up a classic RPG and plug in my SNES and go nuts with the game till I beat it again, then it usually goes into hiding for another year or two until I repeat it. Unfortunately it seems the battery in several of my games are dying.

My friend showed me the latest remake of FF 4 for Nintendo DS and now I want to break out my SNES again and play the original. He tells me to get a DS but I can’t really throw away 160 dollars to buy the DS and game just to play one that I already have.

I think I may have to eBay another game soon or try to fix the battery because the urge to play some classic Final Fantasy is coming up very soon I think, I’m sure my girlfriend won’t enjoy watching me play SNES.
