Nintendo Power Comic - Super Mario Adventurers

You guys remember this great comic that came with your subscription to Nintendo Power? They used to come with the earlier Nintendo Power subscriptions along with a Legend of Zelda one to I believe. I loved reading these comics and we have Super Mario World to thank because if it wasn’t for the success of that game we probably wouldn’t have the comics.

The comics actually ran in Nintendo Powers in 1992 and featured manga style drawing. The comics are loosly based on the game Super Mario World as I said above. You can find these comics in paper back by themselves if you look hard enough.

It is said after the comics were finished and the year was over they were turned into booklets and sold by themselves. I still have some of the sheets from one of the original Nintendo Power and came across them the other day.
