Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for Super Nintendo Review

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest I though was pretty fun when it was first released, it was originally made as a beginners role-playing game and something that would introduce them to harder games such as Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 4, Chrono Trigger, etc.

The game was first released in 1992 by SquareSoft as a spin-off to their popular Final Fantasy series and like I said above the game was designed to introduce new players to this type of game. The game play itself was quite good along with the graphics.

The story line could have used more but it is a game created for beginners so we’ll let that one pass. The one thing I really enjoyed about the game was the music soundtrack and like many other games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System it was awesome.

The graphics were rich and full of color and the monsters, characters, scenery and spells were well designed and though out. I usually pick up this game if I can find it just because I still refer it as a Final Fantasy game, if you haven’t played it why not give it a shot? You can find this at most flee markets or pawn shops.

eBay has always been a trusted site where you can purchase many old games for nothing. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest does deserve a shout out but its not one of those games that has been forgotten because having Final Fantasy in its title usually makes it quite popular.
