Dragon Warrior 3 for Nintendo Review

I know I’ve been reviewing a lot of role-playing games lately but to be honest they are my favorite games to play. These classic stories live on forever no matter how old they are, you just need to plug in the cartridge on your old NES (if you can get it to work) and enjoy.

As you all know Dragon Warrior 3 is part of the Dragon Warrior series which is called Dragon Quest in Japan. Chunsoft developed the game back in 1988 and was published by Enix, now Square-Enix that same year.

The game eventually was ported to Super Nintendo and also the Game Boy in the late 90’s. This game was unique to other role-playing games because it introduced a class system where you were able to choose a specific class for each of your characters. These characters would eventually make up your party which you would travel with.

I know this seems like I am a music nut but again I have to say it, Dragon Warrior 3 has great music even for a Nintendo game. The music itself like many games really makes the difference and puts you in the mood depending on the scene your currently playing.

The overall graphics were great as well for the Nintendo Entertainment System however if you are looking for a copy of the game today its value has greatly increased. These old classics are getting hard to find so if your a collector I’d consider you searching eBay for them and buying them up now while they are affordable.
