I stumbled across this just today actually while searching for consoles that play NES and SNES games. The Tristar 64 actually plays NES, SNES and N64 games in one bundle. To be honest it’s an add-on for the Nintendo 64 produced by Future Laboratory in Hong Kong.
Mega Jet by Sega
In 1994 Sega of Japan released a consumer version at the cost of $123 US Dollars, and still needed to be hooked to a monitor of some type. It did have the addition of a mono DIN plug cord and AC adapter.
The Magnavox Odyssey a Worlds First
The Magnavox Odyssey was the world first video game console. Tested in 1972 and released that same year beating Atari with its Pong game. You may recall Ralph Baer who had a working prototype by 1968.

I was waiting for someone to create one of these and now it’s finally out there. The L64 which actually stands for L337-N64 includes support for external controllers and expansion pack. When you think about it this thing is pretty amazing and could clearly be packaged and sold to a mass market.
